This is a great experience for someone new to the industry. The Logistics Assistant learns our business by supporting our coordinators and managers in our daily operations. This is typically a 3-month Temp-to-Hire position.
This position is for those with at least some experience in trucking operations, sales or logistics. The Logistics Coordinator will support the company in daily operations, while building a book of business of their own. Among other things, this person will prospect for new customers, negotiate pricing, match carriers to available freight and track shipments from loading through delivery.
We can open a new office anywhere in the country. This would be a great opportunity for an experienced truck broker with established customers and carriers, but no interest in relocating.
